VarDev S.A. is seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our team and support the development of the Certej Project—an ambitious, modern mining project designed in line with strict EU environmental standards and international best practices.

Reporting to the Head of Environment, you will play a key role in coordinating environmental data collection and analysis, supporting permitting activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to contribute to environmental studies, reporting, and monitoring programs, while helping to advance our commitment to sustainability and responsible resource development.

 

Coordinate environmental monitoring data collection, analysis, and reporting

Support environmental permitting and compliance activities

Review environmental studies and ensure regulatory alignment

Contribute to environmental impact assessments and mitigation planning

Coordinate field environmental controls and monitoring systems

Prepare environmental reports for internal and regulatory use

 

Degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field

~5+ years of relevant experience (preferably in industrial or mining sectors)

Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Fluency in Romanian and English
