We are looking for an experienced Surveying Engineer to provide essential technical support for mining exploration and exploitation activities. The role involves carrying out precise measurements, mapping, and continuous monitoring of works, contributing to operational safety and data accuracy used in project design.

 

Perform topographic surveys and create digital plans/maps
Develop and update digital terrain models (DTM/DEM)
Calculate material volumes and support reporting activities
Verify that works are executed according to technical designs
Monitor ground stability and help prevent geotechnical risks
Prepare topographic and cadastral documentation and maintain GIS databases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geologists, engineers, environmental specialists)

 

Bachelor’s degree in surveying and cadastre
Minimum 5 years of experience (preferably in heavy industry)
Knowledge of GIS/CAD and GPS/GNSS equipment
ANCPI certification
Languages: Romanian and English (advanced)

Reporting to the Head of Environment, you will play a key role in coordinating environmental data collection and analysis, supporting permitting activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to contribute to environmental studies, reporting, and monitoring programs, while helping to advance our commitment to sustainability and responsible resource development.

 

Coordinate environmental monitoring data collection, analysis, and reporting

Support environmental permitting and compliance activities

Review environmental studies and ensure regulatory alignment

Contribute to environmental impact assessments and mitigation planning

Coordinate field environmental controls and monitoring systems

Prepare environmental reports for internal and regulatory use

 

Degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field

~5+ years of relevant experience (preferably in industrial or mining sectors)

Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Fluency in Romanian and English
