We are looking for a Forestry Engineer to help manage the environmental impact of mining activities and support ecological restoration and reforestation works. The role is involved in all project stages, from initial land evaluation and planning to implementation and monitoring.
Assess land from forestry and soil perspectives
Plan activities to minimize environmental impact
Develop and implement reforestation plans
Monitor plantations and apply protection measures
Restore soils and stabilize affected land
Prepare technical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in audits
Bachelor’s degree in forestry or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience (heavy industry is an advantage)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Languages: Romanian and English (advanced)
