Mr. Myerson serves as CEO and Chair of Foran Mining Corporation. Under Mr. Myerson’s leadership, Foran has greatly expanded its resource base through exploration, navigated robust permitting and environmental conditions, secured financing and is currently well advanced through construction. Foran is a recognized leader in carbon-neutral mining with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and community integration and has been praised by the Canadian Government for its job creation, its contribution to infrastructure and economic growth and for the expectation that it will be the first net-zero critical minerals project in Canada. Previously, Mr. Myerson served as head of Glencore’s Canadian zinc business. He holds a Master of Finance degree from the Queensland University of Technology.
Mr. Andrew Noble is a distinguished British diplomat with over 40 years of global experience, most recently serving as the British Ambassador to Romania (2018–2023) and previously to Algeria. Since joining the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1982, Mr. Noble has held senior diplomatic posts in Germany, South Africa, Greece, and Romania–including as Deputy Head of Mission in Berlin. Mr. Noble is widely recognized for his strategic insight, negotiation skills, and deep expertise in government relations. His tenure in Romania was marked by the successful resolution of high-profile civic issues and a strong focus on environmental stewardship, democratic values, and inclusive development. He brings a nuanced understanding of political risk, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory landscapes across emerging European markets. Mr. Noble volunteers for multiple Romanian charities/civil society institutions. Mr. Noble studied modern languages at the University of Cambridge.
Mr. Meyer is an investment management professional with over 21 years’ experience in portfolio management, equity analysis and corporate leadership, with a particular focus on emerging and frontier markets. From November 2016 until June 2025, Mr. Meyer was Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Templeton Romania and Fund Manager of Fondul Proprietatea. During this period he oversaw public and private transactions exceeding USD 3.2 billion, including the largest IPO in the history of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Mr. Meyer joined Franklin Templeton in 2004 and, prior to his role in Romania, served as Managing Director South Africa and Director of Africa Strategy for the Templeton Emerging Markets Group. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree with specialisation in Economics from the University of Pretoria.
Mr. Stanca has been a leader in Romania’s mining industry for over 40 years. He has served as the Chair of the Board of Deva Gold S.A. (now VarDev S.A.) since 2000, advancing previous project designs through engagement and permitting while building relationships with key stakeholders. Mr. Stanca began his career as an underground mine engineer. He progressed throughout his career to serve as the General Manager of Minvest, the Romanian State mining company, where he led non-ferrous mining operations within Romania. Mr. Stanca holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from the University of Petroşani.

Mr. Aldersley has a highly successful track record in mining investment and project development. As a partner and the Senior Portfolio Manager at Red Kite’s mining fund, he was responsible for the project financing of critical, precious and base metal mines on a global basis. He also had responsibility for portfolio company management, arranging royalty and streaming deals, asset acquisitions, restructurings, recoveries and divestments. Mr. Aldersley started his career in metals trading, trade finance and logistics. Mr. Aldersley holds a master’s degree in physics from the University of Oxford, UK.
Mr. Stanciu has over two decades of legal experience focusing on cross-border transactions, corporate governance, and mining. He was previously Managing Director, Romania for Lundin Mining where he was responsible for business administration and legal matters for assets across central and eastern Europe. He also has extensive legal expertise within Romania, serving as Partner at Leaua & Asociatii. Mr. Stanciu holds a degree in law from the University of Bucharest.
Mr. Parker is a leader in responsible mining and has implemented internationally-recognized environmental, social, and health & safety programs across projects and operations in Canada, Greece, Brazil and Türkiye. He has previously managed sustainability at Ero Copper and Eldorado Gold, where he led teams in building safe and responsible practices aligned with European standards in areas such as water stewardship and tailings management. Mr. Parker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours, First Class) from the University of Calgary and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
Mr. Bernier is an internationally experienced engineering and project management leader. Most recently he served as Project Director for GMining Service, VarDev’s engineering and construction partner. Mr. Bernier has held previous operational and engineering management roles with GMining Ventures, Lundin Gold, Koniambo Nickel, and IAMGOLD. While at GMining Ventures, Mr. Bernier led the mining team through project development, construction, and commissioning. Mr. Bernier holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke, and a master’s in mechanical engineering from the EPF Ecole d’ingenieurs.
Mr. Lavu has over two decades of mining and management experience working closely with local leadership and international executives to advance mine planning, permitting, and development. He has worked across business areas including finance, legal, permitting, sustainability, health & safety, and corporate development. Mr. Lavu holds a master’s degree in auditing and accounting and a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca.
Mrs. Collingride has previously served the United Kingdom as a career diplomat with extensive experience and leadership in Central Europe. Mrs. Collingridge has served twice in Romania, as Head of the UK Development Programme (1998-2001), and latterly as Deputy Ambassador (2018-2023). Her final posting, before leaving the diplomatic service, was to Hungary, as Deputy Ambassador (2023-2024). At various times in her career, Mrs. Collingridge has worked with Romanian civil society organizations to advance social and economic development in the country.
Mrs. Bintu has served as Finance Director at Deva Gold for over two decades. She has over 40 years of expertise in financial management and the mining industry, overseeing financial and accounting operations and compliance. Mrs. Bintu has worked extensively with Romanian and international firms to build and implement financial management practices. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed relationships with auditors, banks, insurers, and fiscal authorities, and contributed to strategic projects and economic restructuring programs within the mining sector. Mrs. Bintu holds a degree in economics from the University of Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca.
Mr. Beacom is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Black Sea Oil & Gas SA, the first company in over 30 years to develop offshore gas in the Romanian Black Sea, and is also the Managing Director of BSOG’s green energy subsidiary, BSOG Energy SRL, a company that is focusing on becoming the first company to develop biomethane in Romania. Before joining BSOG, Mr. Beacom was a Vice President of PetroKazakhstan, President and founder of Croft Offshore Oil, President and founder of Carthage Energy and President and co-founder of its subsidiary Carthage Hydro. Mr. Beacom’s background has extensively been in the development of energy projects throughout Europe, in Canada, West Africa and Kazakhstan and includes offshore and onshore oil and gas projects as well as green energy projects. He holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BSc, Mechanical Engineering, from Queens University.
Mr. Gignac is President of G Mining Services, a leading Canadian engineering firm, and brings over two decades of experience in mining project development and engineering. He has a strong track record in managing large-scale mining projects from feasibility through construction to operations. His leadership has been instrumental in the successful execution of major projects such as the Merian Project (Newmont), Fruta del Norte (Lundin Gold), and the Tocantinzinho Gold Project (G Mining Ventures). Mr. Gignac holds a degree in Mining Engineering from McGill University and is a member of both the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum.
Mrs. Brusturean is the board member representing Romania’s state-owned National Copper, Gold and Iron Company, Minvest, a shareholder in VarDev S.A. Mrs. Brusturean is the Chief Accountant at Minvest and is an experienced professional in Romania’s mineral resources sector, including in preserving and promoting the history of mining development in Romania. Mrs. Brusturean holds a degree in accounting from the University of Babes-Bolyai.
